Q 11.Let the total no. of teachers in school = x
No. of female teachers = 32/100x
No. of male teachers = 85
So, 100%-32%=68% are males.
68% of x = 85
x= 85 × 100/68
= 125
So, the total no. of teachers in school = 125

Q 12.Let the maximum marks be x.
Pass marks = 45% of x
= 45/100x
= 9/20x
Marks secured by Monika = 255
A.T.Q. 9/20x - 15 = 255
9/20x = 270
x = 270 × 20/9
x = 30 × 20
x = 600
So, the maximum marks = 600
