1 ] It is difficult for us to walk on sand, because our feet sink into it. on the other hand, a camel which is much heavier can easily walk on sand.

The weight of the camel is spread over the large area covered by its feet. Thus, the pressure exerted by its body on the sand is less.

2 ] Because of this, heavy vehicles (like tractor) can move even on soft roads and fields without sinking. We know that more area means less pressure. Since, weight of tractors are preety heavy that is why we uses broad tire so as to divide its weight equally and hence, it prevents sinking of tractor in soil.

4 ] A sharp knife cuts objects better because due to its very thin edge, the force of our hand falls over very small area of the object producing a large pressure.
