\star\:\:\:\bf\large\underline\blue{Question:-}

  • If  {5}^{x}  \times  {5}^{x + 5}  =  {5}^{20} , find the value of x.

\star\:\:\:\bf\large\underline\blue{Solution:-}

 {5}^{x}  \times  {5}^{x + 5}  =  {5}^{20}

 \implies {5}^{x + x + 5}  =  {5}^{20}

 \implies {5}^{2x + 5}  =  {5}^{20}

Comparing base, we get,

2x + 5 = 20

 \implies2x = 15

 \implies x =  \frac{15}{2}

 \implies x =  7.5

  • The value of x is 7.5
