Heya mate,

Here is your answer,. ⬇️ ⬇️

 {ANSWER :-}

__________

 <i> We know, at the surface of the earth, Acceleration due to gravity

g = GM / R^2. .......... (1)

Height equal to the half of the radius
= R + 1/2 R = 3/2 R

Now, gravitational Acceleration at a height equal to the half of the radius

g' = GM / (3/2R)^2
g' = GM / ( 9/4 R^2)
g' = 4/9 * ( GM / R^2)

Now, putting the value from (1),
g' = 4/9 * g.

Therefore, at a height equal to the half of the radius, gravitational Acceleration will be 4/9 times than on the earth's surface.

_ _ _ _ _ _

At the surface of the earth,
g = 9.8 m/s^2

Thus, g' = 9.8 * 4/9 = 39.2 / 9

Now, weight of the body
= m * g
= 39.2/9 * 100
= 3920/9
= 435 (approx)

➡️ Hence, the weight of the body at a height equal to half of the radius of the earth will be 435 N.
