1-Three major systems of land revenue collection existed in India. They were – Zaminidari, Ryotwari and Mahalwari.(Ans2)-The stability of the government was also determined by finance and military. The kings were required to keep them under their control. So the taxation was the most important and legitimate source to acquire revenue for the state.(Ans3)-The Zamindars became the intermediaries between the cultivators and the State.
