Answer:

1) Cardiac muscle is striated muscle that is present only in the heart. Cardiac muscle fibers have a single nucleus, are branched, and joined to one another by intercalated discs that contain gap junctions for depolarization between cells and desmosomes to hold the fibers together when the heart contracts.

2) The blood is termed as the fluid connective tissue because as the other connective tissues the blood also develops from the mesoderm of the embryo. Explanation: The blood is involved in the transportation of different substances such as oxygen and immune cells at the sites where they are required

3) Yes, these leaves can also carry out the process of photosynthesis because they contain chlorophyll. The large amount of red, brown and violet pigment mask the green colour of chlorophyll in these leaves.

4) Word equation for aerobic respiration

Glucose + Oxygen → Carbon dioxide + Water + Energy

5) The fundamental units of the brain and nervous system, the cells responsible for receiving sensory input from the external world, for sending motor commands to our muscles, and for transforming and relaying the electrical signals at every step in between.
