Surface area of a Hemisphere=

2× pi× r× r

we know that 2r=d

but in the equation there are two 'r'

Hence we can write the formula as

=pi× (2r) ×r

=pi× d× r

If we write

= pi d d

then the area will become twice than the original area as pi dsq.

= pi ×2r×2r=pi×4rsq.
