perimeter of square=4×side

so according to given condition

for rectangle,

l=2b (2)

thus also here it is said that

perimter of rectangle=perimter of square

ie 2(l+b)=4x

2(2b+b)=(4×24)

ie 2×3b=96

so 6b=96

ie b=16 m

substituting value of b in (1)

we get

l=32 m

so now we know that area of rectangle=l×b

=32×16

=512 m.square

hence area of rectangular field is 512 m.square

                                                  =>4*24

                                                 =>96

Given that perimeter of square is perimeter of Rectangle and length is twice  its breadth

 length(l)=2* breadth(b)

 l = 2b

 so perimeter of square is equal to perimeter of rectangle  

                         perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)        

                         so,96 = 2(2b +b)   [substitute l = 2b]

                           =>48 = 3b

                          =>b = 48/3

                          =>b = 16

So now b = 16 and length l = 2*16=32

And Area of rectangle is l*b

                                       =>16*32

                                       =>512
