yes it must be possible a change which is evolved for a particular function it also use in another purpose also. if we take a example of our hand's the examples are said that the humans are evolved from monkey so the hands are not for climbing but also for holding the things. catching the things and a lot of work we can do and the main evolvement in our brain there is a lot of gap between the animals brain and a human brain. it makes us different from the animals.
