Hey !!!

polinomial x² -2x +1

that means x² - (@+€)x + @×€

so, here given , @+€ = -b/a = -(-2)/1 = 2

@+ € = 2 ------1)

and @ ×€ = 1 ------2)

then, as we know that a²+b² = (a+b)²-2ab

like that , @²+€²= (@+€)² - 2×@×€

@²+€² = 2²-2×1 {from equation 1 and 2}

@²+€² = 4-2 = 2 answer
