Given :-

Length of the sheet :- 5{\tt\dfrac{2}{3}} cm

Breadth of the sheet :- 3{\tt\dfrac{1}{5}} cm

To Find :-

Perimeter of the rectangular sheet

Formula required :-

{\large \tt \dashrightarrow \orange{\boxed{\tt \gray{2 \: (Length + Breadth)}}}}

Solution :-

Perimeter of the rectangular sheet :-

{\tt \longrightarrow 2 \: \bigg(5 \dfrac{2}{3} + 3 \dfrac{1}{5} \bigg)}

Convert them into improper fractions so that the calculation becomes easier

{\tt \longrightarrow 2 \: \bigg(\dfrac{17}{3} + \dfrac{16}{5} \bigg)}

Convert them into like fractions by taking the LCM of the denominators i.e, 3 and 5

LCM of 3 and 5 is 15.

{\tt \longrightarrow 2 \: \bigg(\dfrac{17 \times 5}{3 \times 5} + \dfrac{16 \times 3}{5 \times 3} \bigg)}

{\tt \longrightarrow 2 \: \bigg(\dfrac{85}{15} + \dfrac{48}{15} \bigg)}

{\tt \longrightarrow 2 \: \bigg(\dfrac{85 + 48}{15} \bigg)}

{\tt \longrightarrow 2 \: \bigg(\dfrac{133}{15} \bigg) = 2 \times \dfrac{133}{15}}

{\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{2}{1} \times \dfrac{133}{15} = \dfrac{2 \times 133}{1 \times 15}}

{\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{266}{15} = 17 \dfrac{11}{15}}

\Huge\therefore The perimeter of the rectangular sheet is {\tt 17 \dfrac{11}{15}}.
