In an inertial frame of reference, Speed=Distance/time.

Given here, speed= 72km/hour= 72km/3600seconds=72000m/3600seconds

That is, speed=20m/s (International System of Units)

For time= 2 seconds, distance=speed*time (just rearranging the above formula)

Therefore Distance traveled by the car=20*2m=40 meters!

speed \: = 72km \: per \: hour \\ distance = ? \\ time = 8 \: hours \\ distance = \: speed \times time \\ = 72 \times 8 \\ = 576 \: kilometer
