Hii dear here is your answer....

x=-3 put in equation...

◆x^2-9
◆(3)^2-9
◆9-9=0
●so -3 is the zero of polynomial.

◆now when x=3
◆(3)^2-9
◆9-9=0
●so it is also zero of polynomial..

hope it helps you☺️☺️

let p(x)= x²-9
We are asked to check weather -3 and +3 are zeroes of p(x)
To do this we have to substitute x= +3 and x=-3 into our polynomial.
p(-3)=(-3)²-9=0
p(3)=(3²)-9=0

we get 0 in both cases which means that both -3 and +3 are zeroes of this polynomial
