Let r, R2 and R3 be the radii of circles C1, C2 and C3 respectively with R2 = R3 = R
(r + R)2 = R2 + (R - r)2 : Pythagora's theorem applied to triangle MC1C3
R = 4r = 40 cm : expand and solve for R.
