Answer:

You should remember the fact that

scalar product of any 2 perpendicular vectors is zero, irrespective of the magnitude of the vectors.

Let the vectors be denoted as A and B.

A vector is perpendicular to the B vector.

Magnitude of A vector = 1 unit

Magnitude of B vector = 1 unit.

Therefore dot product/scalar product between A and B

=> A.B

=> A.B => zero (0)

SO OPTION A) IS THE CORRECT ANSWER.

Given ,

Two unit vectors , let A and B which is perpendicular to each other .

we have to find scalar product which is also know as dot product .

Formula is AB=ABCos@

so put the values .

A=1 unit

B=1 unit

and @=90°

=>AB=11cos90°

we know that cos90°=0

so =>AB=0

Hence the option A is correct
