Solution -

Given equations,

y = 5x-3........1)

and,

-5y = - 11........2)

Now,substituting the value of y in equation 2) we will get -

=> - 5(5x-3) = - 11

=> - 25x +15= - 11

=> - 25x = - 11-15

=> - 25x = - 26

=>$x= \frac{-26}{-25}$

=> $x = \frac {26}{25}$

Now substituting the value of x in equation 1)we will get -

$\implies \: y = 5 \times \frac{26}{25} - 3$

$⟹y = \frac{26}{5} - 3$

$⟹y = \frac{26 - 15}{5}$

$⟹y = \frac{11}{5}$

$Therefore\:\: the\: value \:of \:x\: is\:\: \frac {26}{25} \:\:and\:\: y\: is \:\frac {11}{5}$
