Hi friend!!

→ Bone marrow is a flexible tissue in interior of bones.

→ It contains stem cells.

→ There are two types of bone marrow

»Red marrow

»Yellow marrow

→ Red blood cells, platelets and most white blood cells arise in red marrow.

→ Some white blood cells develop in yellow marrow.

→ The color of yellow marrow is due to the much higher number of fat cells.

Hope it helps...

Bone marrow is the soft tissues that reproduce your blood cells.

Blood cells die after 120 day (red blood cells). So, you need more blood cells to replace them.

So, it is a blood cells production factory.

Those people with blood diseas where they can not reproduce blood cells need bone marrow tissues transfusion.

You can get them (bone marrow) inside your bone especially bone in your hand and leg and spinal cord.
