Atmospheric Pressure at sea level, air exerts pressure on us equal to about 1*105 pascals. or N/m2. This amount of pressure is referred to as one atmosphere. This is a huge amount  of pressure equivalent to two elephants sitting on your but we are able to sustain it because materials in our body provide an outward pressure that balances the air pressure.
