Answer:

1)x-y=14° and x+y=90°

x+y-x+y=90°-14°

2y=76°

y=76/2=38°

x+y=90°

x+38°=90°

x=90°-38°=52°

2)x-y=36° and x+y=180°

x+y-x+y=180°-36°

2y=144

y=144/2=72°

x+y=180°

x+72=180°

x=180°-72°=108°

Let one angle be x°

Then, second angle = (180 - x)° =

Now,

Let larger angle be x

→ x- (180 - x) = 36°

→ X - 180 + x = 36°

► 2x = 180 + 36

- 2x = 216°

» X = 108°

: Other angle = 180 - 108 = 72°
