Step-by-step explanation: Given: ar(ABC)= ar(PQR)

To prove: Triangle ABC AND PQR are congruent

proof: In triangle ABC and PQR

arABC/arPQR=AB^2/PQ^2=BC^2/QR^=AC^2/PR^2

but arABC=arPQR

Hence

AB=PQ........(1)

BC=QR........(2)

AC=PR.........(3)

by SSS congruency

both triangles are congruent.
