Answer:

(i) Object distance, u=-60 cm

Focal length of the concave lens, f= -30 cm.

Using lens formula,

1 1 1

__ - __ = __

V u f

1 1 1

__ - ___ = ___

V (-60) -30

1 -1 1

= __ - ___ =____

V 30 60

1 - 3

__= ___

V 60

V=-20 cm

The image will be formed at a distance of 20 cm in front of the lens.
