Communalism is based upon a system where localized and independent communities are combined together and there is no unique identity with respect to religion. Religion is a top most fundamental identity for any person and if that is not given due respect, then people eventually wont respect each other and they would not bother to take care of other since there shall be no such feeling when the basis has been removed. That’s is why Communalism is a threat to social intigrity
