A parallelogram and rhombus are equal in area .
Rhombus :
d1 = 120m , d2 = 44m
Area of Rhombus = 1/2 × d1 × d2
= 1 / 2 × 120 × 44
= 60 × 44
= 2640 sq .m.
Here ...
We also have ,
Base = 66m
Area of parallelogram = Area of Rhombus
Base × Height = 2640
66 × Height = 2640
Height = 2640 / 66
Height = 40m
Therefore ,
its corresponding altitude is 40m.
