The above picture is showing a campfire where woods were burnt and fire wa produced. This is done generally to heat up the surrounding in cold places.

  • Since, we recieve heat from wherever we sit near the campfire, the heat is transferred through Thermal Radiation or simply Radiation.
  • Although all the three modes of heat transfer can be observed, but still most of the heat is transferred by Radiation process.
  • The Air around the fire will also help in the convection process, but it will shoot straight upward and will not reach us.
  • The Heat can also transfer by Conduction but we need to lean near to feel the heat form the burning woods which is very dangerous⚠️.

⚘ Correct answer is Radiation.
