answer me fast......when an electric current is passed in an electrolytic cell, how can we make out that electrolysis is taking place???

Some of the possible changes are-
A. Bubbles of gases may start forming on the electrodes.
B. Colour of the solution might start changing.
C. Deposits of metals may be seen on electrodes.
It depends upon the kind of electrode and solutions used
