The author wanted to sell the medal and pocket the money. Do you think it was a good idea?What would you do in such a situation

I think the author should not sell the medal because, the story says that he was waiting eagerly for the convocation ceremony.He got the medal for his talent or ability to score good marks,therefore it was not a good idea to sell it.I would ask my family members whether it is good to sell it or not and decide accordingly.

I don't think its a good idea as the medal is the sign of respect which one can get for his talent and merit. It is priceless. He can earn money by other means but he can't sell the respect which he gets for his talent...
