❥︎ Given :

 p(x) = 2x^{2} - x^{2} + 5

❥︎ To Find :

The degree of polynomial

❥︎ Solution :

We know that,

The degree of a polynomial is the highest degree of the given polynomial.

So, in the given polynomial,  p(x) = 2x^{2} - x^{2} + 5 , the highest degree is 2.

 \implies \textbf {Hence, the degree of the polynomial} \: p(x) = 2x^{2} - x^{2} + 5 \: \textbf {is 2.}
