Given :- AOB is a staight line .

Angle AOC = 40° , Angle COD = 4x° and Angle BOD = 3x°

To find :- Angle COD

Solution :- Angle AOC + Angle COD + Angle BOD = 180° ... ( These three angles together form supplementary angle )

So , 40° + 4x° + 3x° = 180° ... ( from given )

So , 40° + 7x° = 180°

So , 7x° = 180° - 40°

So , 7x° = 140°

So , x = 140 / 7

So , x = 20

Therefore , Angle COD = 4x° = 4× 20 = 80°

Therefore , Option A ( 80° ) is the correct answer.
