Let ten's digit be x and units be y.

x = 2y __(1)

Let original number be 10x + y, then according to question,

➵ 10y + x = 10x + y - 27

➵ 27 = 9x - 9y

➵ 3 = x - y __(2)

______________________________

By substituting (1) in (2)

➵ 3 = 2y - y

3 = y

______________________________

Then,

➵ x = 2y = 2 × 3

x = 6

______________________________

Then orginal number,

➵ 10x + y = 10(6) + 3

63

27 =9x-9y

x-y=3--------(2)

Put x in equation (2)

2y-y=3
