For line ' l ' & 'm' should be parallel their

corresponding angle should be same.

hence (3x-5)°. & 4x° should be equal..

hence 3x-5 =4x

or x= -5

ñot possible...

the question is not correct....

We need to find the value of x for which the lines L & m are parallel.

So,

∠ (3x -5)° = ∠ (4x)° 【Corresponding angles】

=> 3x - 5 = 4x

=> 4x - 3x = -5

=> x = -5

★So, the lines must be parallel when x = -5★

◆ Verification ◆* [Optional]

● putting x = -5 in (3x-5)°

=> 3(-5) -5

= -15 -5

= -20 -------(1)

● Putting x = -5 in (4x)°

=> 4(-5)

= -20 -----(2)

◆ HENCE both the angles are coming same. So, the lines must be parallel to each other which means corresponding angles must be same.

i hope its hlp you
