X+3y = 6
X+y. = 6/3
X+ y = 2

monisha340417: no u can't write like that because 3y is on variable when there is plus symbol in b/w x and y
Vishalk: there 3 is multipleing so when it goes that side it becomes division

X+3y-6=0 where A= 1,B=3,C=-6
If you bring +6 to the other side then it will change to -6
