let the coefficient of the ratios be n.
and we know that (n - 2) 180 = sum of interior angles.
so,
$\frac{(1x - 2)180}{(2x - 2)180} = \frac{3}{8} \\ \frac{(1x - 2)}{2x - 2)} = \frac{3}{8} \\ 8x - 16 = 6x - 6 \\ 8x - 6x = - 6 + 16 \\ 2x = 10 \\ x = 5$
number of sides in first polygon = 5 x 1 = 5
and number of sides in second polygon = 5 x 2 = 10.
