during the lab preparation of Nitric acid
the temperature must be below 200°C because:

the glass apparatus may break.
the residue may get stick to the apparatus.
there will be wastage of fuel.
the acid form will may get to decomposition.

◆ While Preparing the Nitric Acid, The temperature should be below 200℃ as if the temperature rises above 200℃, the Nitric Acid will decomposes to form Nitrogen Dioxide.

◆ This Nitrogen Dioxide Gas is very harmful for Human Beings; if inhaled.
