The pages are numbered 1 to 4.
The thing is to realise that acceleration g acts in the horizontal east direction as well.
So, we cannot use formulas of Projectile Motion. We need to go from basics.
We consider motion individually in Vertical and Horizontal East Directions.
First of all, we find the Time of Flight (T) by considering motion in Vertical Direction.
Then we considering the Horizontal Direction, and find the formula for Range using the value of T obtained earlier.
We then maximize the Range by using standard Mathematical Procedures.
And finally we obtain the answer as:
Option (D) 67.5°
