we know that acids are the substances that contain hydrogen ion as their constituent element and whenever dissolved in water they produces hydronium ions but dry hcl does not furnishes any hydronium ions so its not an acid

Hola!!

Dry HCl is not an acid because it does not has H+ ions due to its covalent nature...But all acids compulsorily have H+ ions.
