The diameter of a metallic sphere is 60 m. The sphere is melted and drawn into a wire of uniform
cross-section, if the length of the wire is 36 m, find its radius.

Volume of a sphere is : 4/3 × pi × r cube. If r- radius is trebled, it becomes (3r) cube = 27 × r cube= 27 times the original volume. If radius is tripled, then the volume is increased 27 times. If the radius of a sphere is 12 cm, 27 sphere of such radius is melted and recast to form a new solid sphere.
