Answer:

5. sum= 7

one number = 3/5

other = 7-3/5

lcm= 5

7×5/5= 35/5

35/5-3/5

= (35-3)/5= 32/5

option (d)

6. a) 24/40÷ 4/4 = 6/10

(to make 50 in denominator)

6/10×5/5 = 30/50

and in question it is given 35/50.

so they are not equivalent fractions.

b) -25/35÷5/5 = -5/7

(to make 77 in denominator)

-5/7×11/11 = -55/77

and in question it is given -55/77

therefore they are equivalent fractions...✔️✔️✔️
