Tangents drawn from an external points are equal ... ------(1)
=> DS = DR
=> DR = 5 cm ... ( DS = 5 cm .. given )
AD = AR + DR
=> AR = AD - DR
=> AR = 23 - 5 = 18 cm .... ( given :- AD = 23 )
now , by property (1) .... AR = AQ
=> AQ = 18 cm ...
AB = AQ + BQ
=> BQ = AB - AQ
=> BQ = 29 - 18 (given:- AB = 29 cm)
=> BQ = 11 cm ...
and BQ is equal to the radius of the circle..
Hence , The radius of the circle is 11 cm ...
