Answer:

(en) and oxalate ion are both bidentate ligands.

Co-ordination number of E in the complex

is = (2 x 2) + (1 x 2) =6.

And Oxidation state of E in the complex

is => x +(-2) =1

=> x-2= 1

=> x = +3

So correct answer is (6 and 3) respectively

More:

Bidentate ligands have two donor atoms which allow them to bind to a central metal atom or ion at two points. Common examples of bidentate ligands are ethylenediamine (en), and the oxalate ion (ox).
