Polyatomic ion means those charged species which are composed of two or more atoms. Thus sulphate(SO4-2) anion is a correct answer as it is composed of two atoms sulphur and oxygen whereas Sulphide(S-2), Chloride(Cl-) and Nitride(N-3)are monoatomic anions.
