V= voltage

I = current

P ∝ I

P₁ I₂ = P₂ I₁

100% of I = I

So, I₂ = 2I

P₁ 2I = P₂ I

P₂ = 2P₁

Now, net change in power, ie, the percentage increase in power =

(2P₁ - P₁) * 100/ P₁

percentage increase = 100%
