liquid doesn't habe a proper own shape... but the solid one has it's own shape

Answer:

In solid state, the particles are arranged in a lattice structure while in a liquid state, the particles are arranged in random fashion.

The solid particles vibrate and rotate at its position only and hence, it has a fixed shape.(it doesn't move or slide over each other like how gas particles and liquid particles do respectively) The liquid particles vibrate, rotate and move faster than solid particles but slower than gas particles. The liquid particles also slide over one another and doesn't have a fix shape (it has the shape of its container).

solid particles have the lowest kinetic energy. liquid particles have a fair amount of kinetic energy which is more than that of solid's but less than that of gas'

thats all i can think of , thx for hearing me out . take care of yourself from COVID <3

note: liquid is also incompressible as it has a fixed volume so that is not a valid answer
