Given:

BC = 30 m

Angle of elevation from C = 30°

Using applications of trigonometry:

tan30° = AB/BC

=> 1/√3 = AB/30

=> √3 AB = 30

=> AB = 30/√3

=> AB = √3*√3*10/√3

=> AB = 10√3 m

So, the height of the tower = 103 m

1/3 = AB/ 30

AB = 30/3

AB = 30*3 / 3 * 3

AB = 303 / 3

AB = 103 cm ....
