The twentieth century was called the 'Era of the Book' because in those days there were booksabout everything, from anteaters to Zulus. Books taught people 'how to', 'when to', 'where to' and 'why to'. They illustrated, educated, punctuated and even decorated.

20th century was called the era of books because all the knowledge and thoughts of great men were written in books. Books were used almost every where.
