~the Carnatic war was between the two rivaleris french and the British so as to decide who will be ruling India ~mir qusim of one of the puppet nawabs of the British .he wanted to attain respect from his subjects ans therefore stopped listening to the British .this made britishers anxieous and that's why they became hostile towards him
