the non biodegradable waste should not be mixed with biodegradable one and if possible we should not use the plastic articles because it can not decompose the proper decomposition of domestic waste should be done as it can produce manure and compost which is very essential for the farming activities I don't think that there are as such precautions to be taken for the proper decomposition of domestic waste but still if you are asking for a precautions than other should be no stagnant water left around our surroundings as it can breathe the mosquitoes and many other type of mosquito borne diseases and other thing is that we should not let the waste unmanaged
