Ans.1:)- Auxiliary memory, also known as auxiliary storage, secondary storage, secondary memory or external memory, is a Non-Volatile memory (does not lose stored data when the device is powered down) that is not directly accessible by the CPU, because it is not accessed via the input/output channels (it is an external device).

Ans.2:)- Application Software is used by users to perform specific tasks. In general, the user does not interact with System Software because it works in the background.

Answer:

1) Auxiliary memory units are among computer peripheral equipment. They trade slower access rates for greater storage capacity and data stability. Auxiliary memory holds programs and data for future use, and, because it is nonvolatile (like ROM), it is used to store inactive programs and to archive data.

2) System software is used for operating computer hardware. On other hand Application software is used by user to perform specific task. System software are installed on the computer when operating system is installed. On other hand Application software are installed according to user's requirements.
