1.) For first figure :-

107° = x + 57° ( Exterior angle property )

=> x = 107° - 57°

=> x = 50°

2.) For second figure :-

In ∆ ADC,

∠A + ∠D + ∠C = 180° (angle sum property of triangle)

40° + 107° + x = 180°

147° + x = 180°

x = 180° - 147°

x = 33°

Now,

x + 65° + y = 180° ( sum of angles on a straight line)

33° + 65° + y = 180°

98° + y = 180°

y = 180° - 98°

y = 82°
