The Banjaras were undoubtedly very important for the economy.They were the most important traders nomads.Emperor Jahangir wrote in his meomries that the Banjaras Carried grain on their bullocks from different areas and sold it in towns. They transported foodgrain from the Mughal army during military campaigns.
