Answer:

a. Thermoplastic- A kind of polymer which be merely melted or soften down just by providing heat in an effort to recycle the material. The atoms of this polymer is bonded by covalent bond and moreover by secondary weak van der Waal interactions between polymer chains. So these bonds will likely be merely broken by heat. And on account of this truth can change its molecular development. The melted thermoplastic will likely be positioned in a mildew and then cooled to offer them a desired type. Thermoplastic will likely be readily recycled or remolded on account of every time thermoplastics are reheated they’re typically reshaped right into a model new article. When thermoplastic cools beneath its glass transition temperature (Tg), weak van der Waal forces between the monomer chains will sort reversibly and makes the material rigid and usable. So visually in thermoplastic, monomer chains are clumped collectively like a ball of tangled yarn. Benefits of thermoplastic are: it provides extreme energy, shrink resistant and merely bendability. Thermoplastics have aesthetically superior finishes and eco-friendly manufacturing. Thermoplastics have low melting stage and low tensile energy. By the tactic of addition polymerization thermoplastics will likely be synthesized. Few examples of thermoplastics are: Teflon, polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene, polystyrene and so on.

Thermosetting plastic- Thermosetting plastics have irreversible chemical bonds between the molecules. When thermosetting plastic is heated it varieties chemical bonds or cross hyperlink collectively utterly. It has extreme energy, extreme thermal and dimensional stability, extreme rigidity, proof against deformation beneath load and extreme thermal and electrical insulating properties. Molecules of thermosetting plastics are bonded collectively by three-dimensional covalent bonds. Because of the presence of these strong bonds thermosetting plastics current resistance to extreme temperatures and provides good thermal stability. Thermosetting plastics cannot be merely remolded, recycled or reformed upon heating however it turns into softer inside the presence of heat. Thermosetting plastics will likely be synthesized by condensation polymerization. Thermosetting plastics have fantastic aesthetic look. Few examples of thermosetting plastics are: phenolic resins, epoxy resins, amino resins, melamine, Bakelite. Bakelite is a extremely poor conductor of heat and electrical vitality and it is used for making electrical switches.

b. Three properties of  plastic are:-

i) They are chemically unreactive.

ii) They are mouldable.

iii) The are light and easy to carry.

c. A plastic is a synthetic material made from a wide range of organic polymers such as polyethylene, PVC, nylon, etc., that can be moulded into shape while soft, and then set into a rigid or slightly elastic form.

                                                                                              Uses of plastic are:-

1) Uses of plastics in façade panels, exterior covering, carpentry etc.

2) Uses of Plastics in Interior Covering, Floors, Walls, Ceilings, Doors, Partitions Etc.

3) Uses of Plastics in Roof Coverings, Tightness, Domes and Lighting elements.

4) Uses of Plastics in Sanitary Equipment and Piping.

d. Plastic is widely used in our day to day life. Starting from a pen to a polythene bag in which we carry fruits and books are forms of plastic. Though convenient in our day to day use, it has posed an alarming threat to the environment.Plastic is non-biodegradable and do not decay by biological actions of microbes. They remain in the same state as we throw them. So, dumps or garbages are created making our cities and soil polluted. The wastes of plastic bags, bottles, etc. are drawn to a sea or an ocean by rivers and they are deposited in them. They pollute and disturb the eco-system of the sea or the ocean.  Due to wide scale use of plastic, water, soil and air pollutions are caused. These polluted components of environment lead to imbalance of various ecosystem of the Earth. So we should reduce the use of plastic.

Hope it helps.
